A narrow cobblestone street leads to the chateau entrance. You enter Valentine on ground level. Tak a quick left and you enter your private bedroom suite, complete with a luxurious towel warmer, tiled shower and provencal bathtub. The bedroom is equipped with the spacious kingsize bed that can be split into twin beds, if necessary. There's plenty of room of clothes in turn of the century armoir. TV and internet is available. The amiance is unforgetable.

And as you can see, nothing was left undone. The fireplace is a masterpiece...the ambiance of the beams and the decor add that extra special touch to the charm of this lovely home. Old world ambiance will be yours as you gaze around this little treasure of a home.

One level up you'll discover your provencal kitchen fully equipped with gas stove and burners, lovely deep china farmhouse sink, dishwasher, refrigerator and every utensil you will need. The backdrop to the kitchen and upper level pantry is a magnificent circular stairwell draped by chateau stone. You'll love the convenience of a second bathroom at this level. Adding to its charm is the luxury of another European towel warmer and full tiled shower and laundry room.

Can you believe this view. Spectacular in the morning and undescribable at night when the sun sets over this precious little village.

The village of Nyons is a real French village. The service and activities are extensive. They include 20+ restaurants, banks, boulangerie, patiserie, shops, boucherie, etc for everyday living. There is an olive museum, beer factory, lavendar factory, wine cooperative, vinegar tasting, aquapark for the kids, hiking and biking trails, tennis and boules courts, Roman bridge and ....extensive gardens to stroll. The list goes on and on.

This real village offers Thursday and Sunday markets and many festivities throughout the year. This village is alive with true French charm. You'll be only steps away from centreville but privacy is yours as you overlook the village and the Chateau's gardens.

Rates: The owner requests 50% deposit (bank check) mailed to him to reserve the place.• $1000 per week. (now with wifi and always with oodles of movies). And.... trust me on this.... It is worth every penny. We stayed there for 3 weeks while my apartment was in renovation. We totally loved the sunsets. And... the owners are always there to give you advice. Lydie and Wayne are charming folks.

Activities: Sightseeing, Wineries, Hiking, Biking, Tennis, Swimming, Restaurants, Antiquing and just resting!Located close to everything: 1 hour north of Avignon Palais des Papes; 15km northwest of Vaison la Romaine; 20 km to Gigondas; 1-1/2 hr west of the Peter Mayle's Luberon; 1 hour northwest of Isle sur la Sorgue; on the Cote du Rhone wine route; only 1 hour ride from Pont du Gard and Uzes. So much - so close.
